Ellen Ferentz is a retired social studies teacher who taught within a wide range of settings throughout her career. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education, Ellen went on to obtain her master's degree from Cardinal Stritch University. Professionally, she has worked in a residential treatment center, public and private schools, a correctional facility, and a technical college where she culminated her career teaching Psychology, Sociology, and Contemporary American Problems for fifteen years to students seeking to complete their high school diploma.
Ellen served on her local school board for three years, citing it as one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of her life. She currently resides in Wisconsin, where she dedicates her time to empowering young women. Ellen is married to her husband, Michael and they have one son, Fraser who just recently graduated from college.
